Discover the Bailey Ascent.
The Bailey Ascent is a brand-new motorhome range built on the Ford Transit, with a 2.0-litre 165bhp engine and 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. Five layouts sit between 6.4m and 7.5m long. Every model has a 3,500kg MTPLM, so all of them can be driven on a standard Category B licence.
The 64-2 is the compact two-berth, with a C-shaped rear lounge and an electric drop-down double bed above it. The 69-4 and 69-4TS share a body length and both have a full-width rear washroom with access to the garage. The 69-4 has a drop-down double above the front lounge, while the 69-4TS swaps it for twin drop-down singles. At 7.5m, the 75-4T has a separate rear bedroom with raised twin single beds, and the 75-4DL has two lounges, each with its own drop-down double. The comparison further down this page lists the berths, length and price of each model.
How the Bailey Ascent Compares.
The Ascent sits alongside the Bailey Autograph and Bailey Adamo in the current Bailey line-up. The Autograph runs from 7.3m to 8.1m and is designed around longer stays. The Ascent is more compact, so it’s easier to manoeuvre and park while still sleeping up to four. It’s also the first Bailey motorhome range with a lithium leisure battery, paired with a 200W solar panel for more time away from hook-up.
For the rest of the current line-up, see the Bailey Autograph, the Bailey Adamo or the full Bailey motorhome range. Finance is available subject to status.
The Bailey Ascent is built for tourers who want contemporary style without giving up practicality. From weekends away to longer trips abroad, every model comes with automatic transmission, all-season heating and the onboard power to stay off-grid for longer.

Frequently Asked Questions.
What is the Bailey Ascent?
The Bailey Ascent is a new motorhome range from Bailey of Bristol, combining continental-inspired layouts with contemporary interiors. Built on the Ford Transit with an automatic gearbox as standard, it offers lithium battery power, solar charging and a rear garage on every model.
What Bailey Ascent motorhomes are available?
The Bailey Ascent range includes five models: the 64-2, 69-4, 69-4TS, 75-4T and 75-4DL. Each has a different layout and sleeping arrangement, from a compact two-berth with a rear lounge to four-berth models with fixed twin beds or two separate lounges.
How many people can a Bailey Ascent motorhome sleep?
The 64-2 is a two-berth motorhome. The 69-4, 69-4TS, 75-4T and 75-4DL are four-berth models with four travel seats, so they suit families or couples who travel with guests.
Can I drive a Bailey Ascent on a standard car licence?
Yes. Every Bailey Ascent has a maximum weight (MTPLM) of 3,500kg, so it can be driven on a standard UK Category B car licence.
Which Bailey Ascent motorhome is right for me?
It depends on how many people you travel with and how you like to sleep and relax. Couples may prefer the compact 64-2. If you want a fixed bedroom, the 75-4T is worth a look, and families who value extra living space may suit the 75-4DL. You can compare layouts, lengths and prices on this page.
