The New Bailey Unicorn Family: Meet the 2027 Lite, Deluxe and Grande
The Bailey Unicorn has been a familiar name in touring caravans since it first launched in 2010. Now, for 2027, Bailey has given the iconic range a major rethink.
For the first time, the Unicorn name brings together three distinct ranges: Unicorn Lite, Unicorn Deluxe and Unicorn Grande.
Whether you’re looking for a lighter caravan that’s easier to tow, the classic Unicorn combination of comfort and style, or simply more space to stretch out, there’s now more than one way to join the Unicorn Family.
And with every new Unicorn layout now available to explore, there has never been more choice.
Meet the new Bailey Unicorn Family
So, what’s the difference between Lite, Deluxe and Grande?
While they all sit under the Unicorn name, each range has been designed with a different type of touring in mind.
Bailey Unicorn Lite
The new Unicorn Lite is all about making the Unicorn experience more accessible to caravanners who are looking for a lighter touring caravan.
If towing weight is something you need to think carefully about when choosing your next caravan, the Lite range is well worth a look.
Despite its lighter approach, it still carries the Unicorn name, bringing together the comfort, thoughtful design and touring features you’d expect from Bailey.
And there are three layouts to choose from, so you can find the one that works best for the way you like to holiday.
For couples, families and anyone who wants the flexibility of a lighter caravan without stepping away from the Unicorn family, the Lite could be an interesting new option.
Bailey Unicorn Deluxe
Next up is the Unicorn Deluxe.
If the name Unicorn already makes you think of comfortable interiors, clever layouts and a little bit of luxury, this is the range that delivers that classic Unicorn experience.
The Deluxe gives you a choice of layouts, including different combinations of lounge, sleeping and washroom arrangements.
Whether your priority is a spacious lounge for relaxing after a day out, a fixed bed that means you don’t have to make up your sleeping area every night, or a generous washroom, there’s plenty to compare.
It’s the kind of range where the layout you choose can make just as much difference as the specification.
Think about how you actually use your caravan. Do you spend most of your time sitting in the lounge? Do you like a fixed bed? Do you want a bigger washroom? Do you tour for longer periods and want plenty of living space?
The Deluxe range gives you options.
Bailey Unicorn Grande
And then there’s the Unicorn Grande.
If space is high on your wish list, this is where the new Unicorn Family gets really interesting.
The Grande gives you a larger, more spacious touring experience, with generous living areas and layouts designed to give you plenty of room to relax.
There are four Grande layouts to explore, with options including different bed arrangements, spacious lounges and rear washroom configurations.
It’s designed for caravanners who want their caravan to feel like a genuine home-from-home — particularly useful if you enjoy longer trips, spend a lot of time touring, or simply don’t want to feel short on space.
Because sometimes, bigger really is better.
Every Unicorn layout is now live
One of the most useful things about the new Unicorn launch is that every layout is now available to explore.
And there is plenty of variety.
Across the Lite, Deluxe and Grande ranges, you can choose from:
- Parallel or U-shaped lounges
- Fixed or convertible beds
- Different sleeping configurations
- Central or spacious rear washrooms
That means choosing your new Unicorn isn’t simply about deciding which range you like the look of.
It’s about finding the combination of range + layout + specification that works for you.
If you’re a couple who loves a huge lounge, your ideal Unicorn could look very different from a family looking for flexible sleeping space.
And if you’re someone who spends weeks rather than weekends in your caravan, the washroom and storage configuration could become just as important as the bed.
What makes the new Unicorn different?
Bailey has packed the new Unicorn Family with a range of features designed to make touring more comfortable and practical.
But perhaps the most interesting thing about the 2027 range isn’t one individual feature.
It’s the choice.
The Unicorn name now covers three different approaches to touring.
Lite gives you the opportunity to explore the Unicorn experience with a focus on lighter towing.
Deluxe offers the classic Unicorn balance of comfort, style and practical touring.
Grande gives you more room to stretch out and enjoy a spacious home-from-home.
So rather than trying to make one caravan suit everyone, Bailey has created a family of caravans that gives you more ways to find your fit.
