Campbells Caravans & Motorhomes are expanding, and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Valeter / Driver to join our team at our Preston branch.

About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours a week. The role involves preparing, moving, and presenting caravans and motorhomes across our site, ensuring every unit is clean, safe, and ready for our customers to enjoy.
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Pay Review: After 6 months’ continuous employment, the hourly rate increases to 5% above the National Living Wage.
You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team who work hard to maintain the high standards Campbells are known for.
Key Responsibilities
In this varied, practical role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Valeting and cleaning caravans and motorhomes inside and out
- Safely manoeuvring units around the site
- Driving company vehicles for collections and deliveries
- Assisting with customer handovers and basic demonstrations
- Carrying out essential checks to ensure vehicles are presentable and display-ready
- Supporting the wider team with general yard and site duties
- Keeping your workspace clean, tidy, and safe
It’s a role where no two days are quite the same, perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and taking pride in their work.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Minimum age of 25 (for insurance purposes)
- Experience in vehicle valeting, driving, or a hands-on role (preferred but not essential)
- Confidence working outdoors in all weather
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
- Physical fitness for manual tasks
