We are a reputable company specialising in Caravans and Motorhomes, working with brands such as Bailey of Bristol and Coachman. Our on-site Accessories Shop offers a wide range of travel essentials and Awnings suitable for any adventure. At Campbells Caravans, we value customer satisfaction and aim to provide exceptional service for new and existing customers. This is why we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Retail Assistant, you will be expected to sell various Accessories and Awnings to new and existing customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, operating the till, managing stock, and ensuring effective merchandising.

While experience in our industry is preferred, we also provide on-the-job product knowledge training. We are looking for candidates who are confident in a customer-facing role, work well in a team, have the willingness to learn, and enjoy engaging with people.

The role requires full-time availability from Tuesday to Saturday, working from 9am to 5pm. Days off are Sunday and Monday. The salary is a fixed annual wage, paid weekly, with the opportunity to earn additional commission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and online.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure stock availability and place orders as necessary.
• Displaying a genuine interest in customer needs, while continuously learning and adapting to improve service quality.

Requirements:

• Previous employment in a customer-facing, retail-based position is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills.
